Post by jimk »

OK fellow Byrdmaniax: being ever the oh-so-cooperative moderator that I am, (and can't resist a friendly challenge from Si) here's your chance to list your favorite Top 20.

Here are my Top 20
  • Mr. Tamborine Man
    Turn, Turn, Turn,
    Chimes of Freedom
    My Back Pages
    Eight Miles High
    You Ain't Goin' Nowhere
    Positively 4th St.
    Feel A Whole Lot Better
    Here Without You
The World Turns All Around Her
    She Don't Care About Time
    Why
    Mr. Spaceman
    Time Between
    Hickory Wind
    One Hundred Years
    Sing Me Back Home
    Just A Season
Baby, What You Want Me To Do
    Changing Heart
OK, there you go. Have at it.

In no particular order, they are:

MTM
TTT
8 mi. hi
R and R Star
Renaissance Fair
Everybody's Been Burned
Mr. Spaceman
Why
Goin' Back
Lady Friend
Triad
Old John Robertson
Time Between
Girl with no name

I'm a big fan of Younger that Yesterday. It's my favorite Byrds album. I also like the guitars on Back From Rio, which is an underappreciated album.

Funny, I don't see any posts for Mind Gardens, the Lear Jet Song or CTA 102

I love all of the songs everyone mentioned especially "the world turns all around her".

So much so, that I even like pretty much dig all the versions on the Byrds Tribute "Time Between"!!!

If this goes to 4pages + I may have to try to put together a RRF Compilation of a Byrds Tribute of our own!!

Have You Seen Her Face
