Back on this thread -- an offshoot question.
On the way to work this morning I was enjoying the George Harrison Live in Japan CD with Eric Clapton. On their rendition of Taxman, it was my view that the first guitar break seemed one style of guitar and the second break, towards the end of the song, seemed to be another style of playing. The second a little beefier than the first solo. I was listening on a car stereo -- not headphones, so I couldn't tell if the two guitar solos were coming on different channels. But the question is, does anyone know if it was EC or GH doing the solos, did they split the chore and if so, who did the first solo and who did the second on this live recording ?
Neither of the solos on the live version seemed as much passion-infused psychedelic style as Paul was attempting on the Revolver original.
