Liverpool Offers Masters Degree in Beatles

It is a great area of study. To think we have done it all these years for the pure joy of it. Time to get credit for it everyone.

I heard an interview with the prof who is teaching this at Liverpool's Hope University on CBC radio yesterday...

Supposedly he has heard back from Paul Mc who said he is "dead chuffed" about the whole thing...

Popular culture has been studied for years academically... I myself aced a class in university called "Popular Music"... So why shouldn't you be able to specialize in the just the influence of the Beatles?

I know that Randy Bachman on his radio show VINAL TAP has said that people have done "doctural thesis' and the like" on his music, influence and guitar styles... So there is lots of precident for a program like this... And where else to study the Beatles then in Liverpool?

I've had that Masters for years....I know all of the tiny details about the Fabs but can't remember what I had for breakfast!
Go figure...
