What is the best metal rock guitar

Im so a million miles from this but never the less interested.Maybe my selection could be out of touch???????? Im sure i`ll be corrected.Is there a point to this well no but there sure is on the guitars

First to vote! Other : Ric 620/6 with humbuckers and an accent. Can't be beat. Otherwise, I like my '69 LP deluxe with mini-humbuckers. Nice player but not the tone of the 620.

Yeah but you can put an eye out with those pointy bits. I had one and was afraid of it!
LES PAUL all the way, that mahogany and dual buckers just makes the sound metal was made of.

For flatout hair metal with spandex the Ibanez is hard to beat!
The tone has no real character of it's own. The basswood bodies have an almost neutral sound with pickups designed to drive the Carvin and Randall amps into obilivion.
The necks are all speed with huge frets and zero comfort. Made to give you cramps!
A locking nut makes changing a string seem like doing a service on a automatic transmission!
Complete with a Floyd Rose trem to give the most hardened guitar techs nightmares.

A Les Paul is for folks who want to at least think about what note to play next...
