Macca pic from '70-'71 with Ric 4001s
OK folks, this is driving me crazy, I can't find it anywhere.
Can someone please post that b&w photo of Paul McCartney playing the 4001s with the psychedelic paint job removed? You know the one, an outside shot, he's sitting down and got a beard, I think it's from the McCartney songbook or something, I can't find it anywhere, and it's making me bonkers.
Thanks!!!!!!!!

I could have posted that one too, but you asked about a b&w photo!

Jealousy is so ugly on you, Jeff! : )
Kenny, It was this picture that made me decide to order a 4001C64 MG. By the way. I also took your advise and pulled the trigger on the 660/12 AFG. Now if your prediction is wrong...I know where you work!

Does this picture show the zero fret? When I zoom in it isn't clear?
Re: Macca pic from '70-'71 with Ric 4001s
AFAIK the zero-fret wasn't added until later, mid-70s I think......simer4001 wrote:Jeff,jps wrote:Which one were you looking for?

IIRC, there was a full colour shot of this session, on the cover of Melody Maker, April 18th 1970...

Do you have this issue?

Not any more Brian. It hung on my bedroom wall as a teen, especially as the date was my 7th birthday....simer4001 wrote:Wints, wints wrote:IIRC, there was a full colour shot of this session, on the cover of Melody Maker, April 18th 1970...
