If you could step into the WAVAC machine and travel back in time to spend two weeks chumming around with the fab four at any point in their career,where would you set the dial? Please explain your answer.

No question about the time for me Kira: 1962-1963. There was magic in the air at the time.

The eras might be a little askew depending on your point of view...the Help!, Rubber Soul, Revolver, and Sgt Pepper years are an era unto themselves to me (and kind of represent my vote for Sgt Pepper). Pre-"Help!" back to '63 is Beatlemania to me. Post-Sgt Pepper is a closing era, more representative of solo efforts with a backing band to me.

And since 56-61 is 5 years compared to the 2 of my vote, maybe I should have voted differently.

"Rubber Soul"-"Revolver" era for me...sure they were stoned off their asses at that time, but a lot of gold was being made then!
