Is this a good price for a 350V63?

Post by N.F.A. »

I have access to a minty 350V63 for the price of $1825.00. Is this a fair price for one? Time is crucial here, speedy replies appreciated!

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the reply. I just pulled the trigger. Hope he didn't sell it to someone else.. I will let you know how it turns out! This will be Ric number 4 if it works out... Best dang guitars/basses I know...

Arriving at a "good price" depends on the finish/color. You didn't specify a finish, so I assume you are aiming at a 350V63 in Jetglo? $1825 is a bit over the market, but not bad. I have seen nice ones recently for mid $1700s in JG. Some finishes (Fireglo, Mapleglo) might go for the same or less; COY (color of the year) finishes, such as Blueburst, Amber Fireglo, etc. would go for more -- much more.

If you know and trust the seller, that counts for something, too.

Good luck with your purchase!

Thanks for the input. Yes, you assume correctly that it is JetGlo. Even if it is a bit over price, I will be glad to have one. Then, at least for now, my Ric collection is complete. Thanks again for the advice.

Price depends also on where you are - $1850 in the U.S. is maybe a bit high, but not much. IIRC, one of our members was selling a 350v63 MID for $2000 and wasn't getting any bites.

Those 350v63s do play nice!

At last post, still no bites for that 350V63 MID at $1759: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=384740&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=350V63

But there was a JG that recently sold for $1832, so you are spot on with your price!
