Here are The Searchers of today featuring Spencer James on lead vocal. it is often overlooked that Spencer James has now been lead singer longer than Mike Pender was. This is a track which features from time to time in live act, a song they used to do with Mike Pender. A very credible performance in my view. Spencer James seems to excel on the big ballads.

As you say, Roy, a creditable performance - but I have to admit, more than anything it made me want to hear Roy Orbison again. He had such great songs, and to my mind one of the five or so best voices in all of pop/rock/whatever music.
