Nice clip overall. It's amazing how very derivative so much of today's alt. country and roots rock sounds when you listen to the era Byrds music. Yes, I'm talking to you, Jeff Tweedy and Ryan Adams.

Omigod, that is so hilarious. The first 50 seconds or so, when Hef and Roger are having a sophisticated chat -- I couldn't stop laughing! I had to pause it to regain my composure. The music was great -- it really did seem live, excellent CW guitar work and vocals -- but get a load of those dance moves! Outta sight! I don't recognize those life forms. Where did this species evolve to?

The last TRUE Byrds appearance on film before it became a shambles of a Country/Soft and NO IDEA band.
McGuinn was a super cool prince of the young generation still, before so so many clouded his judgement.
The Byrds should have gone on to be a Super Group of the 60/70's, .......they just lost the plot.....damnedest of shames in rock! In hindsight they were/ARE one of THE most influential of ALL time. Wish they could have reunited in every few years of the last decades. Damned shame.

A lot of luck and timing (good and bad) was involved with The Byrds. By mid 1968, Roger had become the manager of the group. He had an answering service - that's all (I still have the article documenting this somewhere).
Imagine if The Byrds had played the Woodstock Festival? What a difference that exposure might have made to Roger & Band! But, with no management - who knew???
