"COY" definition please
Is there a glossary of terms on this forum anywhere? I'm specifically asking about some of the acronyms that are used here like "COY". What's "COY" mean?
Because I told you before- oh, you can't do that.
Re: "COY" definition please

Leave it to a numpty...

Actually, here is a place with most of the definitions along with a lot of other info on Rick bass neck measurements. Just pick the "RIC Acronyms" tab at the bottom.

Nice list. Is it yours? I'd suggest a few minor corrections, like:cjj wrote:Leave it to a numpty...

"RoMo" for Rose Morris, as per the Register. The list has "RM" meaning both Rose Morris and Roger McGuinn.
add BH = Black Hardware (not all instruments with BT have BH)
Burgundy v. Burgandy. Common misnomer.
AZG = Azureglo. AG is often used for Autumnglo.
etc.
Re: "COY" definition please
No, I believe johnallg is the keeper of the list...
Oh, and I believe the "official" definition is that AG = AzureGlo as it was in a RIC catalog that way from the 1970's. ATG is usually used for AutumnGlo, though I've seen AuG as well.

Re: "COY" definition please
Ok,
Memory fails me, AGAIN, but didn't we at one time make a list for all the VP/BT codes RIC used at one time?
I'm almost POSITIVE we did, and I actually think I saved it on my desktop computer....but I couldn't find it with the search feature....
I have to fire up the old bomb and see if I can find it.
