Recording EP soon

Very excited to be making plans with my son today to record the first EP with his band Fools on Sunday. I use the term "his band" because I'm trying to make it a vehicle for his musical desires. It'll be interesting to see how his original tunes translate on disc.

Very exciting day yesterday. I'm aware many of you record all the time,especially with digital technology but, it's been a long time since I spent time recording tracks, in studio with a producer.

The interesting thing was earlier in the week, our producer expressed concern that my son wasn't hitting the bass drum and snare hard enough.When we recorded not only was Evan hitting hard but, he had the strength to take after take, while us "old men" on bass and guitar showed fatigue.

There some scheduling conflicts but, give me another 30 days and I should have some music for ya.
