Is that a recreation of the green Rickenbacker used in the fifties, or a custom color?

If you mean Cloverfield Green, it doesn't look quite the same. I've never seen it in person, kinda hard to tell if it's metallic like the new one.

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Yes, it is Cloverfield, based upon a couple of Cloverfield guitars I've had in my shop over the years. Note that, like AZ, the color of Cloverfield changes as it fades--it turns greener and gets lighter. And it is quite metallic.

This guitar is also deeply clearcoated (unlike the '50s Combos) and this pumps up the contrast and reflectivity somewhat. Then, of course, there's the issue of photographic reproduction of subtle shades. Greens and purples are the hardest to photograph accurately, in my own experience, with my SONYs.

Interesting; the top horn's Tulip style, the bottom horn's Capri style.

VERY nice green, Paul. I also like it with the CV on it.

Man, that looks killer. I love the green contrasting with the maple. Dig it!

Beautiful, thanks so much, Paul! I have seen Mike Parks' '56 Combo 400 CG in person and it looks remarkably like recent RIC TUR. This looks perfect to me. I like the maple stripe even more than I expected to, so that's a treat as well. The pg/TRC will really rock, too.

FWIW, here's another "transitional" example:
450 Combo 1958
450 Combo 1958
