I see prices mentioned and not mentioned vary very much. Maybe it is better to counts cost of restore. I see:

- Tailpiece
- TRC
- Restoring wood
- posibly a repair of fretboard and inlays
- finish (fretboard and body)
- Pickguard
- ??????

Any thoughts?

Your list could be only the beginning, Bert. It could have body routing below the pickguard, bad frets, neck bowing or truss rod issues as well, and that's not to mention the condition of wiring, pots, pickups, and who knows. At the last price you mentioned, I would definitely not buy it without a very close look at all the issues that have been mentioned.

You should buy your second hand Ricks in Holland. ;-) (not that there are many now, but once there is one it wont score very high in price.) No taxes! Not too much transportation costs.
That's where my CS went......
