I could be arguing in my spare time!

23 25........when you get to 53 it all blends into one big mush.

Tony, you've Jaded Mr Fergusson, instead of Geeing him. It's the down under version!
DOH!

MY BAD! APPOLIGIES GERRY..............and thanks for pointing that out Andy.............

I'm STILL trying to get over the suttle differences in word meanings.....

When Graham was here, we said "lets go out get ******".....I'm like, WHY would I want to go out and get MAD at someone? He gave me one of those looks a dog gives you when it hears a strange sound!

I'm not much of a bass player, but I agree with Andy that the RM 1999 is possibly the most iconic bass ever. The only ones that I think hold a candle to it are the Fender Precision bass and Fender Jazz bass, but you see everyone on those. They have a tone that cannot be beaten. While the RM 1999 is not available as a reissue, when I get the money, I plan to buy a 4001V63 FG, just because it looks so cool (yes I can play bass TO A DEGREE, but don't own one and am not a full-time bassist).

Gordon, your DC179 has been the icing on the cake to how cool the RM 1999 really is. (Andy, I hear all kinds of talk about that Gibb bass, though! You gotta let me see it the next time I come to the Orlando area!)

Tony,

Absolutely no offence taken. Either or. I've been called worse...

And now for something completely different
