RIP Gordon Waller

Post by admin »

I have just learned that Gordon Waller of Peter and Gordon passed away. Another great has left us.

Waller Dead At 64
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Wow, 64 is too young. I'm really sorry to hear that. :(

Peter and Gordon were one of my favourite acts from the 60's. Rip Gordon.

Btw the reason that Peter was smiling so much in that video is that Gordon had broken a string on his guitar..............if you watch carefully you will see it dangling. More proof from the pro's.......... that the show must go on.

Fairly easy when you're miming to the record. In real life, a broken string has a tendency to throw the rest of the strings out of tune!

Damn...I was going to see them in a few weeks at the state fair. Some of my favorite Brit Invasion music.
