1977 Rick 320 in White produced after production ceased?

Post by jstelter »

Hi!

I have a 1977 Rick 320 in White and the serial number on the jack plate indictes a production year of 1977. But, the Rickenbacker book indicates that production ceased on the 320 in 1975. Can this guitar be a special order 320 that was made after general production ceased?

Thanks!

Welcome, James! :D
There have been several instances where an instrument left the factory long after is had been discontinued. Yours may certainly be such. :) 8)

I daresay that's a typo in the book. My 320 dates from July 1982, and I bought it new in Spring of '83.
