Re: Your favorite Tom Petty songs
Gotta thinks some more. Do Traveling Wilburys songs count?
Re: Your favorite Tom Petty songs
If they're Tom leads, (Last Night, End of the Line, Inside Out, Cool Dry Place, You Took My Breath Away, Wilbury Twist) then yes, they do count.
Re: Your favorite Tom Petty songs
Which Wilbury songs did he write?
Re: Your favorite Tom Petty songs
He contributed something to at least all of them. Everybody wrote everything.

If there were but one? "Mary Jane's Last Dance" Just love that track. But Petty is a great one indeed.
Love his singing on the Wilbury version on "Nobody's Child".

I think it's the only Petty track that I really like.
Re: Your favorite Tom Petty songs
Really, Collin? I thought you'd be a big fan of "Refugee", "Shadow of a Doubt" or even "Anything That's Rock & Roll"

Well, I guess I kinda like "American Girl," and "Listen to Her Heart" a bit too. I'm really not an active Petty fan though---I dig the guy (and his taste in guitars ! ), but the TP songs that I really like are few.

I like a lot of others as well. I can't think of any I dislike offhand, but this one's a fave number.

And I have been learning the intro and chords for Refugee on the Hammond thinking we were going to play this Collincollin wrote:Nope.JakeK wrote:Really, Collin? I thought you'd be a big fan of "Refugee", "Shadow of a Doubt" or even "Anything That's Rock & Roll"
