A non-Quantum web colab...

Post by ram »

Here is a little one the TCP web colaberation has been working on off and on for a while. The bass is my '74 4001 with an HB1 in the neck position. Hope you enjoy!

Very crafty, Tom! Nice job to all who contributed. The bass sounds great! I've been curious about trying the HB1 pickups - sounds like the results are definitely worth the effort. Great job by the keyboard/harpsichord player. You guys have a definite Jethro Tull feel. I noticed this vibe on the previous TCP collab, too.

Thanks Mark, I guess we all like Tull as much as the next guy but that hasn't been the aim - it just seems to happen that way. The HB1 is a neat thing - I love the sound. Almost toaster-ish but not - a cool hybrid... needs a little work as the pots have a very limited sweet spot. Outside of the spot there is dramatic drop off in volume. Someday will look into it, but I think that I am really liking the sound.
