660 Neck vs. 380L-PZ's Neck

Post by bbobb24 »

Does anyone own both models? I'd like to hear how the necks on these 2 compare. I can see that they have the same nut width, but how about shape and thickness?

Thanks for the help!!

Bob, I own one of each. My 380L PZ is a newer model while the 650D is a '93. There is a chance that the spec for the neck has changed over the years but I'll report back tomorrow nite.

I own two 660/12TPs and a 380L PZ. I can tell you right now that the 380L neck feels "fatter", i.e. the fretboard-to-back-of-neck distance seems greater than that of the 660s. Like Jwilli, I will check further and report back.
