Now with my new Deluxe Reverb rocking it out, I need tips on the best compressor for it.
I'm torn between the (very expensive) Janglebox, Boss CS-3 and the MXR Dyna Comp. I love my Danelectro compressor, but I need something even more powerful than the Dano.
The best compressor pedal for Deluxe Reverb?

Try the Seymour Duncan Doubleback compressor. I just bought one, and the only reason I sent it back is the new Vox AC-4 combos just came in, and I'd much rather have one of those.
I have a Janglebox, as well as a few others. Check out the Doubleback online, and if you don't like it, get your money back. The Boss is very muffly on the initial attack, and really gives you a majorly squashed sound perfect for chicken' picken'. Just my opinion, used to sell them, tried them on many different guitars. This, of course, doesn't mean other forumites have had positive results with them.
The dynacomp has a good rep, and a great price. I bought the Super Comp years ago, thought it was broke, got a replacement, still sounded like a blown speaker with compression. My amp was fine, and tried it through 3 actually. Still, I've heard people praise them, but two turkeys in a row is very unlikely, or says something about their quality control, in the least.
Plug in to as many as possible. Have you heard the Janglebox? It's a great peice of gear, but as particular as you are, I would highly recommend you try one out before laying down the cash. It's fantastic for Beatles, Byrds, Who thing, but you may not like it for other things, just like any effect.
The bottom line is that your opinion is the one that matters most. I personally don't like so many revered "industry standard" items it's not even funny. I don't care who plays or uses it, if I can't get the sound I want out of it, it's useless to me.

I use a Keeley Compressor with my '71 Deluxe Reverb. Made in USA, excellant sounding, and a great company and guy to deal with.
