Byrds' Birthdays

Post by jimk »

I'm missing 3 Byrds' birthdays. If anyone has the missing information, please pass it along.

Kevin Kelly _________1945
Joe Lala __________1943(?)
Gene Parsons ________1947

Thanks,
JimK

Wikipedia lists Gene Parsons birthday as September 4, 1944.

Joe Lala's website (http://www.joelala.com/) doesn't have his birthdate, but does have a way to contact him.

Shouldda wished Gene a happy birthday. I kinda hate to pester people with such trivial things. I feel like such a blithering groupie.

Can't help too much, Jim, but he graduated from Jefferson High in Ybor City, Florida in 1965. So, I guess he was born in either '47 or '48.

Maybe you could contact Chris Hillman for his cousin Kevin Kelley's particulars.
The usual search engines turned up nada.

Yeah, I know. The usual search engines were my first recourse. I really feel kind of squeamish about bugging people for information like this. It might not be prying exactly, but it feels real close to it.

Ha ha - Jefferson's not in Ybor.... *surfs net*

Well spank my *** and call me Judy. I never knew Jefferson used to be in Ybor! You learn something everyday. Here's the wikipedia page, which shows Lala as a notable alum. I went to school with a kid with that last name, maybe he was related?
