Difficulty with new remasters
Difficulty with new remasters
I'm running into some trouble with some of the remasters, specifically with A Hard Day's Night, the White Album, and Abbey Road. When I put them into my computer, they refuse to be recognized by iTunes. They come up with the last tracks being something like fifteen hours long. I don't know what's going on with this, but it sucks. Anyone have any thoughts on what's going on, a common experience, or a solution?

Have you tried EAC to see what it says? iTunes probably confuses the mini-documentary for a song!

That's weird, Matt. iTunes recognized "Hard Day's Night" (as well as "With the Beatles" and "For Sale") just fine for me...

What version of iTunes & QT are you using? Mac? Windows?

It's the latest updates for Windows. I used the EAC and transferred the songs to my iTunes library. It was a little tedious, but worked out.

Yeah, it's a programme which you got to learn how to use through trial and error. I've been using it for ages for WAV/FLAC and MP3 ripping - settings on 192 kb/s VBR for MP3. It's better than iTunes in ripping, although it's not perfect, but very close, imo.lennon211 wrote:It was a little tedious, but worked out.
I'm glad you got everything into iTunes now, though

Same here. I know that I lost some of the overall quality, but in the end, I get to enjoy the remasters without worrying about scratching up discs. Thanks for the help.
