Documentary on the CDs

Post by fireglo »

Is this just the information from the anthology series or is it new material?

I can't say for sure if the info is brand new, but it IS album specific. There's some studio chatter and count-ins along with pictures. If you're looking for in-depth technical info on how the album was made or who played what guitar, this isn't it. They run about five minutes each.

While not strictly from Anthology, some of the material may be from there. The documentaries are about the album they're from, and incorporate old film, newer segments, and video & audio montages. Interesting, but no digital cleanup had been done to restore old film bits, and sometimes the sound doesn't exactly sync up with the video. I feel EMI could have done more to make these really something special.

I have to agree. I was hoping for more.
