Never fails to make me smile. The choir is composed of fifth graders.

Noel: You smile and I cry. Thanks for this joyful experience which illustrates more than words can express the power of music.

This is a winning combination of platinum instruction meeting stirling silver potential. It should come as no surprise that the result is a golden moment. QED

How about that music teacher? Instruction that I could only have dreamed of in my youth.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Cool! There is just something about the voices of children playing and singing that stikes a chord inside me.... They are well rehersed!

Thanks Tom. The teacher (Mr.B) get a new batch of fifth graders each year. He seems a genuine, dynamic, and open-minded guy. How I wish I could have had some instruction like that! I'm not saying the nuns didn't achieve something with their yard sticks...

Peter, I would be lying if I said this didn't cause me to tear up too. There is something about it which disarms me entirely. Purity maybe.

Add a zero at the end and that would be the "name" of the school I attended.

Wow! Very moving. I could only dream of having such fantastic musical instruction in my youth.

That was brilliant, and it is clear they are enjoying themselves.

They are fortunate to have such a dedicated teacher.

Brian, at secondary school in my first year (age 12), we were drafted into the choir and taught how to sing. Music was a part of the curriculum, and we were taught the basics by a very talented lady. I am now more than annoyed that, like many others, I treated it as a bit of a joke, and didn't take it seriously. Maybe if they had selected contemporary music as study pieces it may have been different.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.

I don't know what to say....that was simply beautiful...inspirational. I have a lot of admiration for such teachers. They are too valuable for words.
