Hi everyone, I'm Tolis from Athens and this is my first post.
I recently got my first Rick,a 1980 330/12. The G strings were the same gauge, instead of one 20 and one 10. I ordered two sets of Rickenbacker strings and I realised the wound 20 G won't fit in the nut slot.
Wound G won't fit on 330/12 nut. slot.

Welcome Tolis. Which slot won't the 0.20 string fit in?

Tolis. You can purchase some emery paper, or very fine sand paper, about 1000 or even 2000 grit. Fold the paper in half and very slowly move it back and forth in the slot. You probably just want it wider so don't push down. Just move it back and forth a couple of times and then check. Repeat this very slowly until you get it right and you will be fine.

I'm a little late to this thread, but Peter's advice is good! I tried to "Peter Buck-inize" my 360 with heavy strings and couldn't get them all to fit. I took a small hammer and tried to pound the strings in. Not a good move, but no damage! I took it to my local music shop and they took it from there!
