Not coming up with anything. Yes, a hint would be helpful.

Your choice, but something like -- nationality?

Well blow me down!! ....... or words to that effect.

I thought this guy was American but it turns out he's an Aussie...... sheesh!!

My bad...... even Aussies might struggle with this one. Shall I declare a false start and throw in another one for your edification? :D

OK then..... I'll make it easy. His first hame is 'Ashley' but he's generally known more by a shortened version of it.

Ash Grunwald - The Bottle

What a great tune. His Fish Out of Water album is great also as I just discovered

By George, I think you've got it!

Subject to official confirmation, of course . . .

PS I don't believe there are too many of us playing this game, though the search process, though time-consuming, is highly educational.

And I believe we are still awaiting a pick from Greg . . .

That was indeed a tough one to track down Ron. But it was worth it. It's 100% my kind of music and yes Greg is up next.................

I was gonna guess Hound Dog Taylor.

But I don't think he was ever Down Under.

Throw us another one!

No not me. I had never heard of him before either. Howard's clue and some amatuer sleuthing led me to find this artist.

Thanks for posting that Aitch. It's a great tune and he has some great cuts on that CD
