The Committments.
I saw both in my search, but couldn't hear recorded versions of either.

PS: I never knew the Commitments' drummer spontaneously combusted.

Cliched Spinal Tap joke, Brian.
Every time my band was ready to hit the stage at the peak of our 'fame', the trombonist would lead us out by yelling "Hello Cleveland!" and we would pretend to get lost leaving the dressing room.

I lived a bizarre hybrid of Spinal Tap and Hard Core Logo for a couple of years.
