Yep, the worship of the Almighty Dollar scores another victory.
Thanks for reminding me to update my profile - I am now without a website.

Same here. My Woodstock fansite was on Geocities for over ten years.

Re: Geocities RIP
Very interesting. I had long since archived my old GeoCities page, but it is still available on the internet wayback machine, all except the pics, that is. I think I had that page from roughly '98-'00, maybe?

Re: Geocities RIP
That's wild.
I forgot all about Geocities. Many an early website stemmed from that company.

Re: Geocities RIP
Yeah, Joey just PM'd me about my drawings and pics that are gone now. I have as many as I remember moved to the RRF FTP site (thanks to Jeff's friend) but if anyone remembers more or has other helpful drawings or info they want to add just let me know.

Yep, I made my first website back in '96 on either Geocities or Angelfire. It was really exciting at the time!collin wrote: I forgot all about Geocities. Many an early website stemmed from that company.

Upon reflection, I think I had a Geocities page for a while, too. Boy, that seems like a long, long time ago and in a galaxy far, far away.sloop_john_b wrote:Yep, I made my first website back in '96 on either Geocities or Angelfire.
