From Brian Medway
Who Am I #40
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Keep the guesses coming. I thought this one might be relatively easy. Here's a clue. They are a British band who had a few major hits and also a few relatively minor hits in the 60's.

The vocals and the guitar tone during the solo sound really familiar to me, but I just can't place either right now... still groggy from traveling and the gig. The tune is "Good, Good Lovin'" which was recorded by both James Brown (1959) and Chubby Checker (1961). I need more coffee....

Well, I was on the right track :)
I don't really think it sounds like either of them, but it's the shotgun approach now - Dave Clark Five or Manfred Mann?
