So You Want To Record Wayward Son

Then get started early. I am very taken by the effort of this two young lads and the quality of their recording. What do you think?

Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

That kid used the right bass guitar too!
Makes me wanna play it later at the mini-con-jam...if I remember it and...anyone else knows it.

Wowsers! Great tune and they/he did a great job with it.

I have a few questions/comments:

--the video is captioned "Jon's one man band." Is it the same kid doing everything? The drummer and singer appear to be different from each other and also different from the kid playing the other instruments.

--the vocals -- obviously they used at least the backing vocals from the original, though it appears the voice of the kid singing lead is actually showing up on the tune.

--Great camera work!

Isn't the singer a different kid than the one playing all the instruments?

Amazing.

Yes Jeff, the instrumentalist does everything but the vocals on this one.

Kid's father is some producer apparently hence the set up probably.

He was 16 when he made this video he plays all instruments and a guy called Spencer does the vocals though it does sound to me as if they used the harmony from orignal recording.

Here is a interview done 2 years later July 13th this year, I suspect this kid could be big with right breaks.
