Jean,
Is your bass still white, or has it yellowed?

Rikk, I sold it a long time ago. But I guess it has yellowed a bit. I am no more in contact with the guy I sold it to.

Yey, last weekend we did a bit of a mini tour thing, three gigs over a Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

It was loads of fun.

Also, I've been waiting for my strings to be played in enough and not sound so bright anymore, they are definitely there now. Lovely.

Anyway, this is us in Nottingham:

Also, this is us playing an "acoustic" gig in Sheffield, but obviously I'm plugged in to my amp, just on a very very low setting.

I don't know, you sorta look like Mario.

But did you notice that there's a bat about to land on your right cheek?

Notice how far up the tailpiece is on the body. Has this bass been converted to a short scale?

It's a 21 fret neck, that is probably the reason for the position of the tailpiece, similar to Kevin Teed's 21 fretter.

might even be a 22 fretter. the mikestand is in the way but the last fret on the top side of the fretboard doesn't seem to line up with the one visible on thebottom side. anyone ?

The number of frets has nothing to do with the scale. That tailpiece is a good couple inches closer to the neck.
