Fantastic Ronn! :D

From the pics, I can't tell whether it is Sonic or Daphne Blue - I'm a fan of both in any case!

Really classy look. It appears to be a "flat" finish, so it may not be sonic, if I'm not mistaken. Wasn't sonic a more metallic finish?

In any case; fine, fine job. Use that on Dear Prudence and Glass Onion?

Nope, Sonic Blue was a "flat" finish. Here's mine (MIM with an 80's MIJ neck, refin by Mike Dolan's shop):

The correct term would not be "flat", which refers to gloss level or reflectance. It's "solid color", as opposed to metallics, pearls, micas, or candies (transparents over metallic or pearl basecoats).

This is Sonic at its best, Ronn. A gorgeous instrument.

I'm a bass player, not a finishicologist.

Yes, its Sonic Blue, looks like John B's. I can't seem to take a decent pic of it that represents the color correctly. The guy did an amazing job of it, it really looks great, and only $150! I'm very happy I found this guy, now if I find a lefty bass I like, and its black or sunburst which are the usual lefty finish choices, I can still pick it up and have him finish it in whatever color I want.
