List is $2499 - as stated here.

I got mine (an early slot-head model) for about $700 but it needed a new tuner and some work on the pickups. They pop up for around $1k - $1.5k on ebay every now and then.

They are beautifully made guitars, but they are more like an LP Special/Firebird hybrid with some Fenderesque features than a Rick.

Odd; they don't make basses. Actually that's annoying, not odd.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

Actually John, they do make one bass - this behemoth. This was made for Tom Petersson before he tied up with Waterstone. Not exactly cheap....

Hmmm...12-strings just seem so strange on a bass.

Not really, or, not strange for me anyway. For most of the 90s I played in a 3-piece band that travelled constantly, and all I played was a Hamer 12-string. Actually it became such a huge part of our sound I got a second one as backup(but it became my main). We sold tons of CDs in Japan, and had "interest" from several labels, booking agent, and lawyer, but eventually imploded just as things were getting good. I sold my first 12(no use having two 12-strings sitting in the closet) but still have the second one. Here 'tis:
