Recently I have the honour to play again for him at the RCM here are some photos…

and although last April I had the privilege to attend to his concert with “Five Peace Band” with John Mclaughlin etc, that day I could just briefly talk to him, and until he came last September to inaugurate the Koerner hall a marvellous new place you can see here part of his rumba “Spain” that day…

by the way,I would like to thank also my friend Mr.Mervon Mehta,who is creating an incredible concert season at the RCM Toronto.

Chick Corea is one of my favourite contemporary jazz musicians Ruben and I especially liked the time he spent playing with Miles Davis. Now your music is also a favourite of mine. Thank you for being so generous by sharing it with us.

I have loved Chick's music for a very long time. My favorite time seeing him perform was about 10 years ago when he played a Mozart concerto with The Cleveland Orchestra; Bobby McFerrin conducted! The whole evening was fantastic, the venue was packed, and in the middle of the concert Chick & Bobby did a duo piece, getting the audience involved. In all the decades that I have been going to hear The Cleveland Orchestra this was definitely the most unique concert I have attended. I had binoculars with me and watching the the orchestra members I saw real joy and awe on their faces as they watched those two masters perform.
