Forgotten Video

Post by ben_brown »

There used to be posted here a video in the since gone Rickenbacker video section of a three piece band playing some rather heavy thrash type stuff. The guitar player IIRC was playing a Strat and the bass player was playing an older FireGlo or translucent Burgundy Ric bass that had black tape on the neck as markers. All three of the band members wore some sort of astronaut suits and headphones.
Does anyone remember this and/or the name of the band or song? The guitar player was quite good and I think from a already notable band. Help me here!!!! :)
edit: maybe this was in the artist section...I don't know...

Actually discussed a few times already.
Paul Gilbert was also in the band Mr. Big with Billy Sheehan on bass.

JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Yeah, a Fireglo 4000 with, what, P-bass pickups and new tuners? "Scarified" is scary. The bass player must be a guitarist, too, with that speed and agility.

Not only P pickups and new tuners, but Badass bridge, new "alternative" pickguard and shaved upper bout as well. Definitely not eye candy to me! :?

That's Mike Szuter playing it:

Amazing how it still sounds like a Ric even with the P split coil pickup.

I hate what he did to the poor 4000 but I like his sound.
