A guy I used to work w/ played with Freddie when he lived in the Bay Area back in the '90s. Wish that I would have seen this earlier! Same guy also took piano lessons from the legendary Charles Brown while attending California State University/Hayward and later went on to work in W.C. Clark's band in Austin, TX -- W.C. Clark is the man that wrote "Cold Shot" which was made famous by SRV.
