Bottom line Jason - if the Gibson works for you and helps you make music (the ultimate purpose of the guitar as a "tool"), you don't have to justify it to anyone. Rock on J-Dog!

I'd never get one, but that's because they could've simply made a digital guitar without strings that always keeps in tune - the technology exists, it would be like the stringless digital harp!

I am now up to five different tunings on one of my band's sets and this seems like it'd be a great solution to constantly switching guitars and keeping everything in tune. Are you still diggin' it J?

Joni Mitchell was using a V-Guitar to do her 52 tunings a few years ago. I still love the robot guitar. However, I recently sold it to Scott aka the tarrbot, so he'lll get to love it as much as me! I'm just thinning the herd. It's a great guitar and if used properly, excellent invention. It's so useful.
