New 360/12

Post by simer4001 »

Just scored this 360/12. 1993 model with vintage pickups. So, does it need to have full width inlays and checkerboard binding added?

Wow that's a beaut - love the aged MapleGlo. It doesn't need a thing except to be played.

That is a very nice guitar. And if it were mine, I think I'd leave well enough alone. Congrats and a nice score.

Thanks for the comments. You guys are probably right. I should leave well enough alone. It is a beauty.

The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

I'd say leave it. If and when the day comes that the binding is cracked, and you need a refret, then go for the full width inlays, with medium tall style frets. Until then, just play it and enjoy it. No one ever sees the back of NS 360 bodies, so I wouldn't even bother with CB on the body.

The perfect solution. Thanks, Paul.
