Very cool Tele...that fire-blackened neck is awesome.

Congratulations Sarah upon having a Tele with so much character.

My one & only Tele is currently Japanese made 62 Custom RI. However, I'm about have it transformed into a Bigsby equipped, rosewood neck, double bound, daphne blue Esquire.

Nice choice...Esquires are great...are you having the tone circuitry of the Esquire put in as well, to give it that extra bite?

Sarah, love the ‘fire-maple’ effect…. I think the Tele may be one of the best electric guitars going and yours has some great history to it. Thanks for giving it a good home.

Looks completely ace, Sarah!

Ric players often find themselves very comfortable with Telecasters. Must be the zingy nature of both instruments. I know I'll always migrate to a Tele or Jag over Strats any day.

Thanks for all the lovely comments guys and girls.

Tele is sitting in its rack looking decidedly smug now, but it deserves too after such a traumatic time.

I am starting to think I am running the Rickenbacker Home for Abused Guitars, where no-one is turned away. I really LIKE collecting guitars which have been seriously mistreated and giving them a new start...

...wait, I am now seriously concerned I am completely potty.....

I'd say you are in the right place - many if not most of us would fail the not-potty test....
