480 Body Size vs 4003

Was the 480/481 body the same size and thickness as a 4003? :oops:

Hmmm, interesting question. I would guess the body wings were the same but let's home someone has both and can measure, or we get separate measurements of both.

Good, then it's not an obvious question! They look very similar from the photos, but it's hard for me to compare because of the necks. Hard to tell what is what.

Most likley the same size as a 4001s!

It would be awesome to have a 480 with the bridge moved back, tuned to either a baritone tuning or down an octave. That would require a new neck or a refret, though.. or no frets! :twisted:
