Cool guitar I played at NAMM 2010
This is a Ritter (Germany) guitar that is an interesting take on a jazz box. I was afraid to ask how much it cost.
I understand Jens Ritters instruments cost about the same as a nice little German car.

What?! No 70% off NAMM special?!
Re: Cool guitar I played at NAMM 2010
Jens said he could do you a special one-off with double binding, CB, too, if you want.

Is it ...wooden?
And does it have position markers on the side of the neck?
I like it!

Yes, it is wood, as far as I can tell, with side dots. No Kira, it is a standard scale length guitar.

Named after this cat?

I sure hope not!
Re: Cool guitar I played at NAMM 2010
Besides, the guitar is a she!
No wonder I liked her so much.
Royalty, too!

That's a very interesting guitar, Jeff. Is there a pickup on it? Or it is an acoustic?

There is a pickup right near the neck, typical of jazz boxes.JakeK wrote:That's a very interesting guitar, Jeff. Is there a pickup on it? Or it is an acoustic?
