Ric amp service in the US

Post by coolhandjjl »

Who is the go-to-guy for Ric amp service in the US? (I'm guessing it will not be my local music store.)

Not wanting to pay an arm and a leg to ship to California and back, I decided to try a local shop. The guy has been servicing amps for 40 years, has worked on Ric's before. All it needed was a good cleaning, some re-soldering of connections, etc. No new parts needed. Sounds fine now.

I would also highly recommend the good folks at Aviator Audio in Edmonds, WA. They are not solid-state phobic like most shops, and worked on my TR25s and TR100 with fine results.
