I traded my Silvertone 1451 + $50 for it

Got another guitar too(on the right).

Now I can start a southern rock band.

Thanks guys!Speaker in my Peavey Artist is a 12" Black Widow which,I think, really sounds great. It is a very loud amp the 4 6L6 power stage puts out 120 watts. My Silvertone has a 6 1/2" Rola speaker which i don't like as much as the Fisher speaker that was in my amp-in -case Silvertone .The little radio tube the powers the amp puts out about 3.5 watts. I original bought the Silvertone amp because I thought it would sound like the Silvertone 1448 with a Fisher speaker I used to have but it doesn't.Ric-O-Buc wrote:That Silvertone was sweet! What kind of speaker in that Peavey?

Awesome! That is the Silvertone 1457. Mick Jagger has one.Danotron wrote:Hey Mitch,
I've got one of those Danelectro made Silvertone amp in case guitars as well. I think they sound great! Mine has the tremolo and I would not hesitate to use it at a smaller gig or for recording.

Wow!I had that exact guitar and ampcase in the 80sDanotron wrote:Hey Mitch,
