Wow, cool! If I recall right from the Smith book, production totals are missing from 1967... but in general, there are very very few bound OS guitars from the mid to late 60s. All-original or with changes, this is a very rare guitar. Amazing find. I hope you enjoy it and play it a lot :)

An actual garage-sale steal...the stuff dreams are made of.

In other words, this never happens. You are one lucky guy!!!

Probably not; as late as 1985, a brand new, similar model, AZ Blue 360 WB with toaster pickups was $780.70 out the door, after tax, at a local music store.

$450 is an amazing price; that's about 1/10th the going rate for such a guitar, if not less. Good show!! :D You should show it of at the next So Cal Rick Fest! :D

So Marvin, are you sticking to your story about finding this guitar at a garage sale for $450? Was it around March of last year? Just curious...

$ :D
Exactly my point, it was likely much cheaper eighteen years before it would have been even in 1985. :wink:

Nice guitar! Other than the possible parts swaps it looks to be in very good condition. Congrats on the acquisition.
If it is to be, it is up to me.
