Re: What's the story with: Burgundy RICs ?
I just want a BG 620 like the guy from the Bay City Rollers! His would have been from 1973 /74
A 1984 one came up on Ebay in January and sold for about $1400 USD... (Now if only it had the small headstock and Kluson tuners, I might have bid that extra 200 bucks and scored it)... Still I was mighty tempted

Oh yeah!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

There's a 1982 360WB in burgundy on ebay at the moment. A little beat up, but it looks good to me!

Greg, that's a very pretty little 320 there. I didn't know you had one.

It was last seen in Germany last year on Ebay. It was from 1980... (it was not likely BT originally - but you never know)...robbo63 wrote:Wow, I want that 620 BT!dpowell wrote:One of my faves, love me some BG.
It was likely one of the earliest production model 620 12's... and Burgundy really suited it quite nicely...

I don't have that one anymore Kira. It was my first Rick, bought back in 2004. An impulse buy at the time, i ended up having great difficulty playing the short scale. Kept it for about 12 months, onsold it, then bought my 360fg.kiramdear wrote:Greg, that's a very pretty little 320 there. I didn't know you had one.![]()

6 Ricks later, that 320 was probably the "prettiest" i've had.
Footnote: I think the guy that bought it from me had the same problem with short scale guitars: He sold it (for less than he paid) 2 days later!
I believe the 320bg is up around Sydney now.

Yeah, I understand they're not everybody's cuppa. No worries, though, it just means there are all the more for ME.gregga41 wrote:I don't have that one anymore Kira.
