It gets really tough if you need your glasses to see well enough to find your glasses...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Being a total techno-geek, I used to think that sort of statement was just so weird... used to think that...

I've got a Digitech Jam Man like this 'un:
ScreenHunter_04 Apr. 22 16.39.jpg
They're available for $249.00 retail, saw a couple on the 'Bay for half that. Lots of features and memory.

I got a look at one of those today, and the salesman recommended it highly. Mic jack and USB connection pretty slick. 8)

The Digitech also has a replaceable/upgradeable memory chip, so you can warehouse loops. USB lets you transfer loops and mixes to/from a hard drive.

Anybody here remember magnetic tape?

That must be the model with a "Talent" knob.

All right, I've taken a few baby steps and cloned myself to play simple rhythm patterns. Will this warp the Space-Time continuum, I wonder ...

Great fun, so far. :)

It was the Echoplex that started it all, if you ask me. But Les Paul might have something to add if he was here.
