Out of San Jose, CA they had one hit.
The band played at my high school homecoming dance...they arrived in a hearse. That night besides their hit they played really excellent covers of early Stones material..it was all good until the singer announced they would close with a 30 min!! version of Wolly Bully they didn't make it..the band broke up in 1970. And i thought that would (finally!) be about The Syndicate that recorded "My baby's barefoot". :( Oh well.
Nothing will get you dead quicker than being deadly serious about yourself.

Thanks a ton, George. Been looking for some info about that band since 2001 or so.
