When I was Sales Manager for the MI Division of Suzuki, I really liked working with the guys at Willcutt. Straight shooters.

I'll echo some of the others here: Dave's Guitars, Willcutt Guitars, Pick of the Ricks, and North Coast are all excellent--have had great dealings with all of them.

i will!, but, for the record . . .

i stumbled onto willcutt's a few weeks ago on my way to buying my 360 and i saw they had a 381 (which turned into 2 381s a few days ago). i didn't want to bring willcutts up on this thread until i snared one of the 381s, "just in case"!

you blew my cover!

Ha! They've always taken care of me at Willcutt. I think I've bought at least a dozen guitars there over the years (and amplifiers, pedals, straps, strings).

My first post here and it's thanks to Wilcutt I finally got the precious.
Had my 620/6 for a week and a half now and love it more every day.
I'd never 1) spent this much money on a guitar before and 2) bought one long distance without playing it
... But the guys at WIlcutt were so great I felt fine and I couldn't be more pleased. Even called just to tell them.
Guitar showed up in two days, perfectly set up, and was even still in tune right out of the box - crazy.

I'd been looking at used ones, but the service I got from Wilcutt and 5-year warranty were WELL worth the extra $150 or so vs. what is essentially a **** shoot.

It still blows my mind that I opened a box from UPS and pulled out a guitar that plays better than anything I'd ever picked up before.

I have used Northcoast and (don't hate me) Musicians Friend. I have bought several from MF and you can't beat their return/exchange policy. The other dealers will hate this but, if you watch them closely their coupon/sales will work on a Rick but not a Fender, Gretsch, VOX, ect.

Go figure?

Just to be clear, they're not an authorized dealer. They do have a keen eye for picking up Ric gear that's left of center, though.

Pretty much everyone listed is amazing. That being said, I have never had better deals or better customer service than I have at Jim's Music in Irvine, CA.

On the negative side, they don't have many models (maybe 3 or 4) on stock at any given time (although they have many already ordered but not accounted for), but I haven't been able to find anyone to beat their prices for an authorized dealer for a new under warranty guitar. I almost don't want the world to know this as I fear it might drive the prices up.
