Re: Keith and Paul
I'd say Ronnie Wood.opticnerve wrote:Very cool shot Brian! Who's the other guy?
Re: Keith and Paul
I am not sure but he does look like a young Ronnie Wood. I understand that this was before he joined the Stones though.............so if anyone out there knows who he is definitively, please share your knowledge.

Re: Keith and Paul
I downloaded and flipped the photo horizontally.
The fine print on the bottom identifies the other fellow as Ron Wood.

Re: Keith and Paul
Then Keith is playing left-handed in this pic?
Maybe playing Paul's guitar?
All I wanna do is rock!

Re: Keith and Paul
Good call Ron!
Changing my Cubs logo avatar...they're are stinking up the joint....
Brian and Ron both have OS's up...seems like a good time to show off Blondie.

Good guess, KIra. I'm with you on that one.kiramdear wrote:Then Keith is playing left-handed in this pic?Maybe playing Paul's guitar?
The caption is in German, and it appears to say that Keith and Ron are visiting Paul, but I can't make out all the words. Plus Keith's left hand is placed as if he is playing fingerstyle, something he was not known for.
Perhaps one of our German members could help with the translation?
Re: Keith and Paul
That would explain why the picture is flipped - it wouldn't make sense to an uninformed viewer to see Keith playing left handed.
Maybe it's Paul's Gold Top?

Re: Keith and Paul
It's a '50s Les Paul Custom. Keef had a couple of these starting with '57 model in 1966 and then acquired another @ '67 or '68. He's been photographed with five different Customs over the years and really favored them from the mid '60s through the mid '70s. Which one is in this pic is anyone's guess as it's hard to tell from the angle.
Couple pics of him w/ a Custom in 1967:
