Here's a new one that popped into my head while I was at a Spoon concert...weird how no matter how loud a band can play, our own heads are still louder. Big thanks to Wade for cranking out some smokin' lead guitar, although he really ought not to smoke.
All crits and comments of any sort most welcome.

Real Good Look at the World
Every day like clockwork you step out
For a mocha cappuccino at half past three
And I can’t blame you if you didn’t have a clue
It’s the kind of thing that never gets missed by a thief like me
And when I slipped into your window
I knew I had a little time
Looked at the pictures in your kitchen
I even opened up your blinds, yeah
I got a real good look at the world
A real good look at the world
I got a real good look at the world
Through your eyes
Well I left your money but I found your files
And I made a few notes and I copied down a number or three
It always takes some time till you realize you lost
A few little things that never get missed by a thief like me
And so I strolled down your driveway
Into the hot summer day
Hopped in my car with your Visa
And as I drove away, hey
I got a real good look at the world
A real good look at the world
I got a real good look at the world
Through your eyes
A week later you surprised me
When you walked into the jail
You took a picture and you smiled then
But when I opened up my mail, well
I got a real good look at the world
A real good look at the world
I got a real good look at the world
Through your eyes
I got a real good look at the world
A real good look at the world
I got a real good look at the world
Through your eyes

Good tune Mark - I like it. What's the inspiration? love the bass during the fade out.

Cool one, Mark! The way it starts out puts me in a 'Mrs Robinson' mode. Winding up I get a Lenny Kravitz vibe. Great vocals all around, (melodies & harmonies) which proves to be your strongest feature. The only thing that was a little distracting to me was that the instrumentation was a little loose. It sounded like the acoustic guitar & drums weren't always in synch.
